Apply for a transaction account


Gather relevant information

  • your name, address, date of birth and occupation
  • details of the name of the account
  • whether the account will be held in a trust
  • details of all signatories to the account
  • any other name by which you or any signatories may be known (such as a maiden name)
  • the beneficiaries of the trust that the account is held in
  • the name, address and date of birth of any director, officer or authorised person of the company that the account is held in.
  • your Tax File Number (not compulsory)

 

If you or any signatories on your Account are not already a customer, please contact one of our branches to determine what identification is required to open your Account.  Generally you can satisfy our identification requirements by providing the following:

1. A current Australian driver's licence; and

2. A valid Australian passport.

 

Type of account holder

Documents/Information required

Company

  • Company search; and
  • For all directors - name, address and date of birth.

Body corporate (community title scheme)

  • For all the officers - name, address and date of birth.

Incorporated association

  • Constitution (if there is one); and
  • For the chairman, secretary and treasurer - name, address and date of birth.

Partnership

  • Business Name search; and
  • For all the partners - name, address and date of birth.

Firm

  • For all the authorised persons - name, address and date of birth.

Trust

  • For all the trustees - name, address and date of birth or a Company Search.

Club, Lodge or Society

  • For all the authorised persons - name, address and date of birth

Estate

  • A certified copy of the Death Certificate; and
  • For all the executors or authorised persons - name, address and date of birth.
